We have also offered a safe, family oriented, gentle caring facility- Bethany Birth Center- for those families choosing an environment for natural, non-interventive childbirth. We have been very fortunate to be a part of the miracle of life, attending over 18,000 births with greater than 2,000 of these being in our birth center. It is therefore with deep regret that we are forced to announce the closure of Bethany Birth Center effective June 30, 2007. Let us reassure you that the doctors, midwives, nurse practitioners and staff are committed to continue providing the same personalized, high quality obstetrical and gynecologic care you have come to expect at Bethany Womens Healthcare. Our philosophy related to childbirth remains unchanged, only the environment will be different. Phoenix Baptist Hospital Women and Infant Center has assured us that they will make every effort to provide a non-interventive atmosphere for our patients to experience natural childbirth if they choose. Our mission, values and commitment to quality care are stronger than ever.
